Rural Salinas de Imón
Hotel & SPA in Manor house from the 17th century, the building is nowadays a hotel. It has been one of the most important buildings in Imón. It is a big manor house, located 140 km from Madrid, in North Guadalajara, between two historical towns (Sigüenza and Atienza). Recently, we have been selected as one of Spains most beautiful hotels by Editorial Siglo XXI. Our hotel also belongs to the European Foundation of Historical Manor houses. The hotel has 12 rooms with decorative furniture of an antique style. In the surrounding area, you can find churches, castles, palaces, museums and cathedrals. You can visit remnants of the various epochs, from the prehistoric times till the neo-classical period.
On the top floor, there is a library which leads guests to an exterior patio and a garden. A colorful stairway with paintings in the ceiling and artistic socles takes you to some of the guestrooms. Each room is decorated and named differently according to the chosen theme. The keys room, for example, exhibits a collection of old keys and the “music” room is decorated with music scores, instruments and signed photos of famous musicians. The “chairs” room features a Louis XVI style cradle and the Carlos III room, where this man is claimed to have once slept, has Empire beds, Jacuzzi and photos of the family. There are two towers in the garden each of which house a further guestroom, one decorated with a medieval style.
