It had parking, and was not far from a metro stop to get into the center of Amsterdam. There was no hot water in the hotel for 2 of the four days that we were there, and there was no compensation offered. The staff did not even enquire about whether we enjoyed our stay during the checkout. The bathroom had mold around the edge of the tub. It was quite unpleasant to not have the hot water. We have submittted a complaint to the hotel, but do not expect to receive a reply. |

ideal location breakfast was poor value, staff unable to cope with demand. Rooms are scruffy and damaged, seem to be worse with every visit |

Location. This was a definite plus, as it was only a 10 minute walk from the tram station which meant there was no need to drive to the City center. The room was an excellent size and the beds were comfortable. All meals that we ate we also very good. The Hotel is in need is a face lift in side. The all hall way carpets are beginning to show their age and the wall paper is beginning to bubble in many locations throughout the hallways. The room furniture coverings such as the table cloth was very dirty and should be replaced. These are not complaints just observations, our stay was enjoyable and I will return on my next trip to Amsterdam. |

spaceous, comfortable, all you could want there is no ventilation, so you need to open a window to keep the humidity down. Not a big deal in the winter because the radiator puts out plenty of heat. Also, it is a 10 minute walk from the farthest stop on the red line from Amsterdam. It is a nice, safe area to walk from the metro stop to the hotel, but some unsavory looking charachters are with you on the train until the 2nd to last stop. |

looked for another hotel. canceled our second night and moved to the Marriott in town The tel in the room did not work. The bed was like sleeping on jello. One side of the bed had a depression on the edge from long usage and you tended to roll toward the edge. There is no way this hotel can be used as a base from which to explore the city of Amsterdam. You must walk 20 minutes to the tram station and then ride through questionable neighborhoods another 20 minutes to get there |

No hair-drier in the room; for my partner - the room was too cold; no air-con (radiator instead, quite efficient). Good-quality alternative for a cheap option; far from the centre, not very easy to reach from the airport (take train to Centraal, then metro all the way to the final stop) |

Good location and parking for a car driver. Excelent hotel design. Ratio of price/comfort. To change both taps in room 242. Always give complete sets of towels, not 1,5. To declare only available TV channels, not 13/18. To pay attention to room 242 window tulle which is in holes. To fix a loose radio pannel. The restaurant service must be better. Use Russia, not USSR in the guest form. |

Friendly staff. Good bar. Good food in the restaurant. Lakeside tables area would be good in summer. Free parking at the hotel. The distance from the centre of Amsterdam where parking is difficult and expensive. Breakfast room sometimes crowded with coach parties which overstrained the staff resources. |

We were able to check in at no more than 5 past 13.00. (Normal check-in is 14.00). Breakfast was good. No complaints. I wouldn't have mind a few spare pillows on the room. |
